Actor Rainn Wilson, whose most famous role was that of Dwight Schrute in “The Office,” is calling out Hollywood for having an anti-Christian bias.
Wilson took aim at a recent episode from the HBO series “The Last of Us.”
In episode 8 of the hit series based on a zombie apocalypse video game, a character by the name of David is introduced. David is a pastor that TV Guide describes as the show’s “most horrifying villain yet.”
And of course, as a ‘pastor,’ the David character is a cannibal fueled by pedophilia.
i first watched the last of us episode 8 in january and have not been able to stop thinking about it since. here’s my recap of my favorite (!!!) episode in the show: https://t.co/30xnzHcvXr

Rainn Wilson Blasts Anti-Christian Bias in Hollywood
Rainn Wilson, as did many viewers, knew almost immediately that the character of the pastor was going to be a bad guy. And in a series focusing on the apocalypse, zombies, and a government crackdown on the people, that’s quite a feat.
Naturally, Hollywood couldn’t create a religious character who could help shelter and mentor those suffering from the fallout of the movie’s – or video game’s – plot.
“I do think there is an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood. As soon as the David character in ‘The Last of Us’ started reading from the Bible I knew that he was going to be a horrific villain,” Wilson tweeted.
“Could there be a Bible-reading preacher on a show who is actually loving and kind?”

The Bias is Real
Actor Rainn Wilson got some support for his tweet about an anti-Christian bias in Hollywood.
“As SOON as the pastor started reading from the Bible I knew he was going to be awful. I was like ‘watch that guy be David the creepy cannibal from the video game,’” wrote Evie Magazine founder Brittany Martinez.
Martinez also pointed out that in the video game version of “The Last of Us”, David is not a pastor. Hollywood, in particular these producers, saw a leader of a group of cannibals and decided, ‘Yea, that sounds like a pastor.’

And then it was David. Shocked. Surprised. Never seen it before.

“Indeed, making Christians the bad guy in the show is the norm, nowadays,” Christian writer Ed Stetzer tweeted.

Rainn Wilson isn’t exactly a hard-right conservative either. He often poses interesting questions on his Twitter feed that could be interpreted in a variety of ways.
Last January, he openly wondered why people would doubt ‘the Science’ during the pandemic and was immediately hit with reality.
Well Michael Mann’s climate emails were leaked where he admitted to pushing false climate alarmism and Anthony Fauci has been wrong on COVID as much as he was wrong on AIDS.
Hope this helps. https://t.co/aoAzDExd2T

Wilson also ran with his um, tail, tucked between his legs, when he made a joke about ‘chestfeeding’ and suffered the wrath of the ‘trans community.’
“TIL you can no longer say ‘nursing or breastfeeding mother’ you have to say ‘chestfeeding person.’ Just FYI,” he originally tweeted.
But it didn’t take Wilson long to throw up the white flag of surrender.
Yesterday I tweeted a mean crack about breastfeeding vs chestfeeding. After speaking with some Trans friends and educating myself a bit more I want to apologize for the tweet. It was adding to misinformation and meanness. I’m sorry.

Despite his calling out Hollywood for an anti-Christian bias, discussing the role of science in today’s world, and his comedic acting, Rainn Wilson’s most important battle might be this …
Nobody says ‘numb nuts’ anymore. I miss it. #numbnuts

Perhaps the numbnuts in Hollywood will heed his words and stop with their blatant bias against Christians.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
