Earlier today, we reported that New York City is preparing to give migrant families $53 million in pre-paid credit cards. The rapper 50 Cent has since responded by saying that he might vote for Donald Trump.

‘Maybe Trump Is The Answer’

The New York Post reported that when this policy is rolled out, “it’ll start with a group of 500 migrant families in short-term hotel stays and will replace the current food service offered there, according to City Hall.”

“The cards can only be used at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores — and migrants must sign an affidavit swearing they will only spend the funds on food and baby supplies or they will be kicked out of the program,” the report adds.

This didn’t sit well with 50 Cent, who took to Instagram to post a screenshot of this report.

“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works. Somebody explain,” 50 Cent wrote in a post that has since been deleted, according to Fox News.  “Can’t explain this I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer.”

50 Cent’s Previous Comments

50 Cent previously considered voting for Trump back in 2020, when he took to social media to bash Joe Biden’s tax plan.

“WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT. F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway,” he said at the time. “I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—— mind.”

Days later, however, 50 Cent recanted his support of Trump.

Daily Mail reported that 50 Cent previously questioned why migrants were being given free healthcare in California.

“I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers,” he said last month. “They don’t even give veterans health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this s**t. WTF.”

Back in October, 50 Cent slammed Biden for taking a trip to his beach house during the Israel-Hamas war, saying “[eye emoji] hey Joe get the f— up, we in trouble man!”

KOMO reported that 50 Cent went on to say, “we got some real s— going on out here Joe. what’s the plan to get a tan and chill come on now.”

It seems that unlike most celebrities, 50 Cent isn’t afraid to think for himself when it comes to politics. What do you think about his comments about Trump? Let us know in the comments section.
