We have now learned that Melania’s influence on America will continue to grow, as we can confirm the First Lady is setting up a staff as she prepares to move to D.C. in the coming months,
Army Sgt. Jose Medina is only 29 years old, and his life changed after he was selected to dance with new First Lady Melania Trump during the Salute to Our Armed Services Ball at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
Medina, who is from Puerto Rico, was honored to be part of the historic night and explained in interviews that Melania was classy and gracious the entire time.
The sergeant noted that she seemed nervous, and congratulated him on his selection. She was genuinely interested in getting to know him, and wanted to talk to him.
And when he boldly asked to spin her, she agreed:
“I didn’t want it to be just a boring dance,” Army Staff Sgt. Jose Medina told Task & Purpose. “I’m Latino and I was expecting something more than a slow dance. So I asked, ‘can I spin you?’”
She said yes.
She’s pretty nice,” he added. “Obviously everyone’s got their opinions of her. But she was very nice, and she was nervous. You can only imagine. She just became the first lady.”
Medina, who was chosen from the 3rd Infantry Regiment to dance with Trump a month before the inauguration, said they were both anxious in front of all the cameras.
“I was nervous as hell,” Medina said.
He said it was a “cool” experience and spent almost an hour with the Trump family, including the President himself. His impression of President Trump was “amazing.”

Could you imagine former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton dancing with a soldier like this? Or Michelle Obama? Of course not.
Melania was classy, and reminded us all that America now has a First Lady we can all be proud of.
