Legendary rock band Kiss gave a big ol’ middle finger to anti-American clowns like Colin Kaepernick, Brandon Marshall, or any other athletes that have been disrespectful during the national anthem.
The Hall of Fame rockers stopped one of their shows to honor military members, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and then performed a rockin’ version of the national anthem.
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool,” lead singer Paul Stanley told the crowd. “Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting, and honoring our military is always cool.”
Being a multi-millionaire for playing the game of football and whining about “oppression,” not so cool.

At a stop in Worcester, Massachusetts, Kiss brought its roadie for the day onstage, along with other members of the military past and present, and led the entire arena in the Pledge of Allegiance, something the band has done before. However, this one had a bit of a special message to a particular NFL player — a not-so-subtle knock to the shenanigans by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, lead singer Paul Stanley said:
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool. So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
The band then launched into an instrumental version of the national anthem — a slightly more explosive version than Jimi Hendrix once did.
The band has displayed pro-American, pro-military tendencies in the past. Over the years, they’ve hired military veterans to work as roadies on their various tours.
This is an unforgettable gesture that we’ll always remember. Thank you Kiss for showing respect to the national anthem, our country, and veterans that they so richly deserve!
