Rachel Maddow could be in huge trouble after she totally flubbed the Trump “tax suprise.” If you didn’t catch it, Maddow and the liberal network MSNBC made a huge deal about “having Trump’s tax returns,” and revealed his 2005 documents on the air.
Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice joined Sean Hannity last night and delivered a powerful case against Maddow and MSNBC, something they couldn’t have imagined.
Sekulow referred to this source during his segment: U.S. Code § 7213 – Unauthorized disclosure of information:
It shall be unlawful for any person to whom any return or return information (as defined in section 6103(b)) is disclosed in a manner unauthorized by this title thereafter willfully to print or publish in any manner not provided by law any such return or return information. Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.
There are no blurred lines with Sekulow’s breakdown. He worked with the IRS, and under no circumstances should Maddow get away with releasing private documents without being charged. I guess she thought she was smarter than everyone else, as most liberals do.
But what’s even more confusing is the fact that this huge “revelation” didn’t hurt Trump at all. In fact, it verified that Trump was telling the truth all along, and liberals were lying. Not only did Trump pay a massive amount of money in taxes, but he also paid at a higher rate than Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden.
Maddow’s guest, the supposed source for the story, said he “found the tax returns in his mailbox.” But the Commander-in-Chief responded to him early Wednesday morning in awesome fashion:

Maddow has gone into hiding since the end of her show last night. She and her team are probably crafting up talking points for tonight’s show to justify her actions. I am glad Sekulow is on our side waking up Americans to the truth.
