A young man with Down Syndrome made a special request for Santa Claus recently – he wanted his vote.
Not for himself, but for a famous candidate.
It was a moment that left jolly ol’ St. Nick giggling, while it’s sure to leave Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, smiling this Christmas.
Matt Boyer of Tennessee recently participated in the annual tradition of sitting on Santa’s lap at the local Bass Pro Shop, and proceeded to reveal the one thing he truly wanted.
“What do you want for Christmas this year?” the jolly old man asked.
Boyer responded without hesitation, “All I want is for you to vote for Trump to (be) president.” He then gave Santa a Trump button.

For years Matt Boyer was a Hillary Clinton supporter, going against his parents beliefs. However, this year his family said he jumped on the “Trump train” after reading about Benghazi.
“He goes in the voting booth and votes every election and he knows exactly what he’s going to do every election,” said Teresa Boyer.
The Corryton mother said her family waited for two hours to see Santa Claus at the Bass Pro Shops in Kodak. When it was her son’s turn Teresa Boyer said Santa asked “what do you want for Christmas this year?” and Matt said “All I want is for you to vote for Trump to president” and handed him a button.
The family reported that Santa got a big kick out of the request, giving Boyer a fist bump and saying “this kid made my Christmas.”
