I am not a historian, but I love history. I found this video and was floored by the things I didn’t know. Now that’s not saying I am going to turn over a new leaf and sink into a dark room with one light and look for national treasure within the President’s manuscripts and biographies, but I wanted to share this with you as President’s Day is upon us.
So sit back and relax for a few minutes. Check out how President James Garfield made May 30 as a non-working day to decorate the graves of people who died in the Civil War, or how President Dwight David Eisenhower suffered heart attacks and poor health. His last words were “I want to go. I’m ready to go. God, take me.”
