Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of ‘The View,’ told Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that she’s lost her support because of comments she’s made about an older generation of Democrats.
“I was very happy when you were elected because I thought it was a great step and a good direction,” Goldberg explained in an interview with the New York socialist.
“And then you lost me because it felt like you were saying to people like me that I was too old and didn’t do enough,” she continued.
Goldberg was referencing a very public spat over a year ago between AOC and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“It sounded like you were dismissing us and it bothered the hell out of me,” she insisted.
Ocasio-Cortez tried to dismiss Goldberg’s concerns saying there is “incentive” to blow up disagreements before referring to Pelosi as “mama bear.”

Confronts AOC Again
Whoopi Goldberg has confronted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over this matter before, demanding that the freshman Democrat respect her elders.
The longtime actress advised AOC to “sit still” and “learn the job” first, before taking shots at others.

She was responding to AOC’s insistence that she would blow up the Democrat party by fighting exclusively to run incumbents out of office.
“It is very, very difficult when people make accusations where you say, you know, the Democrats have done nothing, the establishment of the Democrats have done nothing,” Goldberg lashed out.
“You don’t have to be born into it,” she added. “You don’t have to know it when you step out, but before you start p**ping on people and what they’ve done, you got to do something too.”

Mental Capacity
Goldberg even slammed AOC for pulling the race card on Pelosi in the past. This might be difficult to remember now that every member of the Democrat party is an extremist like Ocasio-Cortez, but there was a time the two didn’t get along.
AOC even insinuated at one point that Pelosi was racist for daring to criticize her and her anti-American “squad” of freshman representatives.
“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood,” Ocasio-Cortez said at the time.
“But the persistent singling out … it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.”
Goldberg called BS.
“I have a problem with how all these young women started out, when they were accusing older Democrats like myself of not getting what needed to be done in the country,” Whoopi fumed. “They started saying ‘you haven’t done this.’ I don’t think this had to do with color, I think this is more BS.”
Lucky for her, mama bear Pelosi and AOC have mended ways, with the House Speaker bowing to the New York congresswoman’s every whim.
Now, Ocasio-Cortez only mocks former vice president Joe Biden for being old and having a limited mental capacity, while unironically having her own limited mental capacity and acting as a surrogate for the 78-year-old curmudgeon, Bernie Sanders.
