Whoa: Can You Guess Who Trey Gowdy Told to ‘Shut Up?’

Trey Gowdy

House Benghazi Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy issued a warning to his Republican colleagues who have taken to the media to publicly criticize his investigation and defend Hilary Clinton – “Shut up talking about things that you don’t know anything about.”

Gowdy has taken exception to comments by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and New York “Republican” Richard Hanna, who both made comments that the investigation was politically motivated against Clinton.

“Unless you’re on the committee,” he explained, “you have no idea what we have done, why we have done it and what new facts we have found.”

Last week, Gowdy issued a statement directed at Hanna, essentially accusing the Congressman from New York of not knowing what the hell he’s talking about.

Watch Gowdy go off on his colleagues once more …

Via the Washington Post:

The chairman of the House committee investigating the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012 pushed back against claims that the probe targeting then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s handling of the attacks was politically motivated.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that he has told Republican colleagues to “shut up talking about things that you don’t know anything about. And unless you’re on the committee, you have no idea what we have done, why we have done it and what new facts we have found.”

Gowdy added that “The seven members on my committee are much more focused on the four dead Americans than we are anyone’s presidential aspirations.”

Comment:  Do you think the Benghazi Committee will get to the bottom of what happened before, during, and after the terror attack?  Will Hillary ever be held accountable for her role?
