Below is the Fox News report:
A vehicle struck a security barrier near the White House Friday afternoon, according to the Secret Service.
The Secret Service tweeted that the driver was “immediately apprehended.” The agency says the vehicle “did not breach” the security barrier of the White House complex.
It was originally reported that shots were fired sometime during the crash, but that has been refuted. The White House remains on lockdown.

The White House is confirming that no Secret Service agents have been hurt in the incident:
A spokesman said: “An individual driving a passenger vehicle struck a security barrier near the White House at 17th & E.
“The vehicle did not breach the security barrier of the White House complex.
“The female driver of the vehicle was immediately apprehended by Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers.
“No law enforcement personnel were injured during the incident involving a vehicle hitting a barrier near the White House.”
Earlier today, President Trump delivered a well-received address to conservative activists at an annual conference hosted just outside the city.
This is not the first vehicle crash near the White House during Donald Trump’s presidency, and it’s definitely not the first scare. Just last month, a man with a gun was arrested just outside the White House grounds.
This is a breaking story. We’ll refresh it as soon as more details become available.
