“Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd, in a rare but albeit remarkable display of actual journalism, grilled Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) over President Joe Biden’s mental acuity and inquired as to whether or not she viewed Hunter Biden’s presence at a recent state dinner as appropriate.

The exchange grew rather cantankerous at times.

The clash began when Todd noted recent polling that suggests a significant number of Democrats – Democrats – are concerned about the President’s state of mind.

“The concern among Democrats has doubled since October 2020,” he pointed out. “It was only one in five Democrats that had that concern before Election Day 2020. It’s now over 40 percent, it’s 43 percent. You were just with the president at the state dinner. Do you have any concerns?”

Klobuchar (D-MN) shot back immediately, “No, I don’t.”

The Senator went on to claim the “party is united behind” President Biden and said that he had done “so well at that state dinner.”

Todd Hammers Klobuchar Over State Dinner Invite To Hunter Biden

Todd then pivoted to asking Klobuchar about that White House state dinner, an event that saw both Attorney General Merrick Garland and Hunter Biden in attendance.

The dinner was held in honor of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and comes amidst shocking revelations of the President’s son allegedly using his father’s name to threaten a foreign national over a six-figure payment.

“Do you think it was appropriate for Hunter Biden to be at the same event as the Attorney General Merrick Garland was in the same week he accepted a plea deal?” asked Todd.

“I think as the president explained, that’s his son, that’s a separate thing,” Klobuchar responded before diving into a heaping helping of praise for the prosecutor who negotiated the plea deal with Hunter.

“You understand the perception issue of something like that,” Todd retorted.

“You always wish there were different perceptions, but that’s not reality. Reality is whether or not someone is going to be able to get their insulin. And the president has made changes,” Klobuchar said in a bizarre pivot.

Reality – Most Americans View Biden As Mentally Incapable

The reality, Senator Klobuchar, is that the Biden family has engaged in criminal and corrupt business practices for some time and has gotten away with it.

Under a recently announced sweetheart arrangement, Hunter will plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges but will have a felony charge related to lying on a firearm background check dropped so long as he completes a two-year period of probation.

In other words, he got away with it.

His presence at that state dinner also comes amidst new revelations of a shocking text message showing Hunter Biden threatening a foreign national and using his powerful father’s name as leverage.

That is known in some circles as extortion. But Klobuchar thinks it’s just a “perception” problem and doesn’t find it to be a big deal.

Also not concerned with the perception of appearing at a state dinner with Hunter Biden? House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy was asked “about Hunter Biden and Merrick Garland also being on the guest” list, a question he simply dodged.

“I look forward to taking my daughter-in-law for the very first time to the White House,” McCarthy said, adding, “Every state dinner I brought another member of my family.”

An NBC News poll shows 68 percent of voters indicating that they’re concerned Biden doesn’t have the necessary mental and physical health to be president.

Of those, 55 percent say they have “major” concerns, a marked increase from the same question posed in 2020.
