Vox Calls for Abolishing Supreme Court
Much like a seven year old trying to change the rules of a game they’re losing – Democrats have now decided that any institution that doesn’t serve their purpose must destroyed. After the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, the popular liberal publication Vox has now called for the abolition of the Supreme Court entirely.
“…the Court is now a blunt political instrument, used repeatedly to undermine outcomes of democratic governance” the Vox article complains. While I can’t prove it, I imagine there’s a 0% chance Vox would be making the same complaint with a liberal court. The article continues, “…it’s perfectly reasonable to ask if we should abolish the Supreme Court, or at the very least strip the Court of its ability to overturn laws that it rules unconstitutional. If the Court is no longer a neutral arbiter of the law, if it’s gradually shape-shifting into a partisan weapon, then maybe it’s time to rethink its role in our constitutional system.”
Plenty of liberals have echoed such calls to abolish the SCOTUS, none of which existed prior to the nomination and eventual confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

It’s noteworthy that Democrats have an immediate inclination to abolish democratic institutions when they don’t get what they want. Whatever happened to the rallying cry, “this is what democracy looks like!”? It’s evident that they learned absolutely nothing from Harry Reid’s “brilliant” decision to deploy the nuclear option on judges. That came back to bite them, as will any other attempt to change the rules of the game. Another “fix” Vox has dreamed up for the SCOTUS is to expand it to 11-15 justices (or more) instead of the current nine. If enacted, I imagine liberals would support the system of 11-15 judges until the very second conservatives take a majority – in which calls for its abolition would begin all over again.
It’s a rarity when the voices of sanity are on Twitter – but when Vox publishes content like what I’ve quoted above, such a glitch in the matrix is common:

This is the most predictable reflex in media:

The Supreme Court has been liberal for decades and now that is has swung back the other way, everyone calls it illegitimate.

We went from “Abolish the Supreme Court” to “The Supreme Court is the crown jewel of our Democracy” and then back to “Abolish the Supreme Court.”

How much more winning until liberals decide to give up, and start calling for the abolition of the presidency?
Such a statement sounds like a joke, but Democrats have already called for “impeaching” Kavanaugh.. They’ve called for the abolition of ICE, the Electoral College, and now the SCOTUS itself.
