When numbers get into the billions and trillions, the human mind can’t truly visualize how tremendous those figures are. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959. A billion minutes ago, Jesus was walking on Earth in the flesh.
That’s just billions. A trillion is a thousand times that, and when it comes to the question of America’s national debt, we’re at a whopping $20 trillion.
A trillion dollars in $1 bills would take up 3,992 square miles in space – and takes up more than a few football fields worth of length.
