Virginia Is Just The Tip Of The Iceberg

Since Tuesday, conservatives – like myself – have spent plenty of time taking victory laps, and with good reason.

Tuesday’s election results were an absolute disaster for Democrats and represent the beginning of what could very well be a red tsunami that could wipe out Democratic majorities in both Congressional chambers in 2022.

Democrats, meanwhile, are engaged in the traditional loser’s game of finger-pointing. And while there is the occasional sane Democrat who is getting it right, like James Carville – who rightfully blamed their losses on insane “wokeness” – what is truly astounding to watch, however, is that the vast majority of those on the left are not only doubling down on a losing strategy, they are actually blaming the very voters who they need to win over.

MSNBC’s Ja’han Jones wrote:

“The Youngkin campaign discovered that this contingent of angry, willfully ignorant white people was the key ingredient needed to elect a GOP governor in Virginia for the first time since 2009.”

If you think that’s bad, it’s nothing compared to some of the bigger names on CNN and MSNBC.

MSNBC’s anchor Nicolle Wallace, who once played the role of Baghdad Bob for George W. Bush and his WMD sham in Iraq but is now a screeching hyena monkey for the left, opined on the election like this:

“I think that the real ominous thing,” she said, “is that critical race theory, which isn’t real, turned the suburbs 15 points to the Trump-insurrection-endorsed Republican.”

MSNBC’s lead lunatic, Joy Reid went even further, claiming that Virginia electing the first woman of color as Lt. Governor and the first Latino as Attorney General was somehow how a gateway drug to “white nationalism”:

“You have to be willing to vocalize that these Republicans are dangerous,” Reid said on MSNBC Live as the election results rolled in. “That this isn’t a party that’s just another political party that disagrees with us on tax policy,” said Reid. “That at this point, they’re dangerous. They’re dangerous to our national security because stoking at kind of soft white nationalism eventually leads to the hardcore stuff.”

Atlantic’s Jemele Hill, who once reported on sports but now finds racist conspiracy theories lurking behind every bush, never misses the opportunity, tweeting out:“It’s not the messaging, folks. This country simply loves white supremacy.”

While all Virginia voters who voted Republican were tarred and feathered for crimes against humanity, particular scorn was doled out for “white women,” who of course Democrats relied on to win the White House and Congress in the last election cycle.

There was a time, not so long ago, that the idea of attacking voters – the very people who you need to win over to win elections – would have been considered preposterous. Sure attack politicians, attack their ideas, but never ever attack voters.

That was of course before the left completely and totally lost their minds.

It started in 2016, when Hillary – in an act of desperation seemingly unable to vanquish Donald Trump, the guy she thought she would beat by 50 points – decided to unload on Trump’s voters. On Trump’s “basket of deplorables.”

You would have thought that Democrats would have learned from Hillary’s mistakes, but alas what started as an attack on a portion of Trump’s voters has turned into a full-blown broadside against anyone who dares to not vote for the Democrat.

Trust me when I tell you that they won’t stop these attacks any time soon. Also trust me when I tell you that these attacks are great for conservatives.

Half of the work of convincing voters to vote for your side is done by your opponent if your opponent is insane enough to wage a jihad against said voters. It’s a political suicide mission and we are only going to see more of it.

Which is why Virginia, and to a lesser extent results in New Jersey, Minneapolis, Seattle, and elsewhere, were just the tip of the iceberg.

If Republicans can avoid self-harm over the next year, not always a guarantee given our Congressional leadership, we could see a 1994 or 2010 style red tsunami wipe out Democratic majorities in both chambers.

Buckle up, set the DVR to MSNBC or CNN, and grab the popcorn. Things are about to get real!
