On Tuesday, the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers visited President Biden at the White House with quarterback Tom Brady at the center of the event.
Brady, a friend and supporter of Donald Trump, used the spotlight to crack some jokes about President Biden and added a little election humor to the celebration.
Think Tom Brady is the only quarterback to win a Super Bowl under four presidents: George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Brady: ‘I Think About 40% Of The People Still Don’t Think That We Won’
“These guys are an amazing group of men,” Brady said of his fellow Buccaneers and their Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs.
“It didn’t look great at one point, we were 7—5 and struggling a little bit as the President alluded to,” Brady continued. “But we found our rhythm and got on a roll.”
“Not a lot of people think that we could have won,” Brady said. “In fact, I think about 40% of the people still don’t think that we won.”
“I understand that,” Biden responded, with everyone laughing.
Brady and Biden were both obviously joking about Americans who doubt the validity of the 2020 presidential election, with Brady specifically mentioning a polling percentage.
And that wasn’t Brady’s only joke.

Brady then made another joke, “I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing and they started calling me, ‘Sleepy Tom,'” Brady said, referring how former President Donald Trump referred to Biden as “Sleepy Joe” during the election.
“Why would they do that to me?” Brady asked.
This was Brady’s first trip to the White House since 2005, when he won his third Super Bowl with the Patriots.
When the Patriots were invited to the White House in 2015 and 2017, Brady did not attend along with the rest of his team.
Brady not visiting Washington, DC in 2017 angered Trump, apparently believing Brady’s absence would make him look bad, according to the Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey and Wesley Lowery.

He also didn't go in 2019 to Trump's White House, along with the rest of the team.

“Trump grew angry in April 2017 when Tom Brady said he planned to skip the White House visit with the Patriots, huddling angrily with aides and even calling Patriots owner Robert Kraft,” WaPo reported in 2018.
The story continued, “One former senior administration official described a chaotic scene unfolding over the heartlands of America, as Trump flew back from an event in Wisconsin.”
“Trump made a number of calls and asked aides to help fix the situation, worried that Brady’s absence would reflect poorly on him,” the Post noted.
