A survivor of the horrific mass shooting that took place Sunday in Las Vegas shared a heartfelt on-camera reunion Monday night with the man who saved his life.
Tom McIntosh was one of the more than 500 concertgoers hospitalized Sunday night after Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old Mesquite, Nev., resident, opened fire on a crowd of more than 22,000 people from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
James Lawson, a total stranger with Army Reserves EMT training, told NBC’s the “Today Show” he found McIntosh “actively bleeding” in the back of a pick up truck, applied a tourniquet and waited with him until a ride to the hospital materialized.
The massacre, which resulted in 59 fatalities, was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
