Vaxxed And Boosted Democrat Senators Elizabeth Warren And Cory Booker Test Positive For COVID

Three Democrat senators, each of whom announced that they had received vaccinations and booster shots, have tested positive for COVID-19.

Three Democrat Congressmen, each of whom announced that they had received vaccinations and booster shots, have tested positive for COVID-19.

Senators Elizabeth Warren (MA), Cory Booker (NJ), and Rep. Jason Crow (CO) all made an announcement of their positive test on social media.

Each expressed that they were experiencing mild symptoms and praised the vaccines for not feeling worse.

The three breakthrough cases come as the omicron variant is spreading throughout the country, a version of COVID that appears to be circulating significantly amongst the vaccinated.

Vaccinated Democrats Test Positive For COVID

Senator Elizabeth Warren was the first to announce she had tested positive for COVID.

“I regularly test for COVID [and] while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case,” she tweeted.

“Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms [and] am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated [and] boosted,” she added.

Donald Trump Jr. couldn’t help but take a jab at Warren over her past scandalous history of having boosted her career with false claims of Native American heritage.

“Damn white people spreading diseases to the natives,” he tweeted.

On a serious note, it’s good news that the 72-year-old Senator is doing well. Warren’s oldest brother, Donald Reed Herring, sadly died of COVID-19 in April of 2020.

Booker, Crow Announce Positive Tests

Cory Booker and Jason Crow continued the theme of praising vaccines for mild symptoms.

“I learned today that I tested positive for COVID-19 after first feeling symptoms on Saturday,” Booker tweeted.

“My symptoms are relatively mild,” he continued. “I’m beyond grateful to have received two doses of vaccine and, more recently, a booster – I’m certain that without them I would be doing much worse.”

Crow, who is quarantining at home, also indicated he is fully vaccinated and had received his booster shot.

“Everyone eligible should get vaccinated and boosted to help prevent major illness and protect the wider community,” he said.

recent study indicates the omicron variant could be less severe than other forms and can be slowed down, but not stopped, by vaccines. Other studies suggest that vaccine boosters are the way to go.

Last week, President Biden warned those unvaccinated against COVID that they will be facing a winter of “severe illness and death.”

Three triple-vaxxed Democrats announcing positive COVID tests seem to indicate anyone is susceptible to getting COVID.

“It’s here now and it’s spreading and it’s going to increase,” Biden said.

“For unvaccinated we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death if you’re unvaccinated for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they will soon overwhelm.”

The President is expected to make a speech on Tuesday to announce new steps the administration is taking in order to respond to the omicron variant.

An official indicates Biden will announce additional measures while “issuing a stark warning of what the winter will look like for Americans that choose to remain unvaccinated.”
