Biden Says The Unvaccinated Will Face A Winter Of ‘Severe Illness And Death’

President Biden is warning those unvaccinated against COVID that they will be facing a winter of "severe illness and death."

President Biden is warning those unvaccinated against COVID that they will be facing a winter of “severe illness and death.”

Biden made the comments while discussing the highly contagious but relatively mild omicron variant in a meeting with his coronavirus response team.

“It’s here now and it’s spreading and it’s going to increase,” he cautioned.

“For unvaccinated we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death if you’re unvaccinated for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they will soon overwhelm.”

A recent study indicates the omicron variant is less severe than other forms and can be slowed down, but not stopped, by vaccines. Other studies suggest that vaccines are ineffective without accompaniment by a booster.

Biden’s ‘Winter Of Death’

If President Biden’s ‘winter of death’ proclamation sounds familiar, that’s because it is.

At his inaugural address on January 20th, 2021, the new President warned of what lied ahead.

“We will press forward with speed and urgency, for we have much to do in this winter of peril and possibility,” Biden predicted.

On that date, according to Our World in Data, 412,892 Americans had died from the coronavirus. Biden was ushered into office on the promise he would “shut down” the virus.

As of Thursday, over 802,000 Americans have died from the pandemic, nearly twice the number documented on inauguration day and marking more deaths in 2021 than had been experienced in Trump’s final year in office.

Then-candidate Biden said during a presidential debate that anyone presiding over the deaths of 220,000 Americans (about one-quarter of today’s numbers) should be disqualified from being President.

“Anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America,” he said.

President Snow Miser

Whether it’s a ‘winter of peril’ or a ‘winter of death,’ President Biden’s goal seems clear – keep people living in fear, especially the unvaccinated.

It’s been a consistent theme among his administration.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, confronted over Biden’s past assertions that as President he would “shut down” the virus if he were elected, suggested it’s unvaccinated Americans who are the problem.

“We need the American people to do more, who are not vaccinated to help us continue to fight the virus,” she said.

Just three short months ago, the President called the current situation in the United States a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

“We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin,” he scolded those who have chosen either not to get the vaccine or have natural immunity, or both. “And your refusal has cost all of us.”

Fast forward to today where omicron is being spread primarily by fully vaccinated individuals, some of which have even received the booster shot.

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) reports that fear from the pandemic has lifted blood pressure levels for both men and women.

“Increases in blood pressure were likely related to changes in eating habits, increased alcohol consumption, less physical activity, decreased medication adherence, more emotional stress and poor sleep,” a study had revealed.

Who wouldn’t want to do less and drink more when facing a ‘winter of peril’ and now, a ‘winter of death.’
