As previously reported, World Series MVP pitcher Curt Schilling came under fire for a transgender meme he reposted on Facebook with the comment, “A man is a man no matter what they call themselves. I don’t care what they are, who they sleep with, men’s room was designed for the penis, women’s not so much. Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic.” Now Schilling has been fired from ESPN for expressing an opinion shared by most Americans.
In a two sentence statement announcing the decision, ESPN said:
ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.
Naturally, people on Twitter took issue with the word “inclusive.” As Inigo Montoya once said, “I do not think that word means what you think it means.”
"We're inclusive except where it concerns speech," says ESPN's idiotic move.

Can you really be "inclusive" if you won't allow people to have their own and potentially differing opinions? #CurtSchilling

"ESPN is an inclusive company," which is why it excluded someone for disagreeing w/ them about a law. https://t.co/eNoXrbvp1O #CurtSchilling

They are inclusive, if you’re a liberal.
Schilling should have compared conservatives to ISIS — He’d still be in ESPN’s good graces AND golfing with Obama https://t.co/eR7To4fVPw

Curt Schilling thinks men should use the men's room. Gets fired. What a stupid time to be alive. https://t.co/MdYSRFU61z

Thanks, ESPN, for making it clear that you stand on the wrong side of commonsense and discriminate against those with traditional or religious beliefs. Americans, take note and consume sports media accordingly.
Someone should start a sports network that focuses on sports. I bet it would be HUGE.
