Before anyone starts to get too political, this heinous act was about two monsters who victimized their children in the worst way imaginable. I am horrified by the awful abuse these kids suffered, and politics has absolutely nothing to do with it.
In the past decade, society has fallen into a deep pit of depression, complete with horrible parenting skills. I don’t think it’s a stretch to add how teachers are attached to that destruction as, in some instances, they have also become predators to our kids. This next instance, what I call a real-life American horror story, demonstrates that unfortunate truth.
Law enforcement officers found siblings between the age range of 2-years-old to 29-years-old shackled by their parents in their home in deplorable conditions. Their parents, David and Louise Turpin, had used padlocks and chains to keep them inside. How could this happen? This is off the map!

Authorities said the investigation began after a 17-year-old girl “escaped” from the home in Perris and called 911 early Sunday to report that her 12 brothers and sisters were being held by their parents.
The sheriff’s office said investigators initially believed the “slightly emaciated” girl was just 10 years old when they first saw her.
When officers and deputies went to the Turpins’ home, they found “several children shackled to their beds with chains and padlocks in dark and foul-smelling surroundings,” according to the sheriff’s office. The statement added that the parents were “were unable to immediately provide a logical reason why their children were restrained in that manner.”
Authorities initially believed that all the victims they found were children. However, investigators eventually discovered that seven of the victims were over 18.
What’s even worse is they were listed in the California Department of Education as having permission to run the private Sandcastle Day School. David was listed as the principal!
I’m beyond disgusted. Where were the neighbors? Family members? Why has society become so detached from horrors like this? If you see something, say something. There should be nothing out of bounds to reporting something like this to the police.

According to Geekworld, the father used to have an $11,000-a-month job working as an engineer for Northrop Grumman, a global security company in San Diego. They started up a school under the California education system. The Riverside Sheriff’s department claims they were struggling financially, but David had over $80,000 on his Lockheed Martin 401K plan.
Either way, these monsters will see justice behind bars when their names are released to the general population. They probably never thought they would end up behind bars, which shows you how arrogant they were. But, really soon it’s going to be hard for them to move around and get anything done with a target on their back. Inmates do not take kindly to children getting abused.
