Tulsi Gabbard Leaves ‘Warmonger’ Democrat Party That Stokes ‘Anti-White Racism’

Former Representative Tulsi Gabbard announced that she is leaving the Democrat Party, blasting her colleagues as being controlled by “warmongers” who stoke anti-white racism and are possessed by “cowardly wokeness.”

Gabbard, who represented the state of Hawaii up until her retirement from the House in 2021, posted a video announcement on Twitter Tuesday morning.

And she torched the place on the way out.

“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism,” she said.

Gabbard went on to accuse her former party of demonizing law enforcement while “protect(ing) criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans,” and said Democrats “believe in open borders” and are willing to “weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents.”

Tulsi Gabbard Says Goodbye to the Democrat Party

Above all other reasons for leaving the Democrat party, Tulsi Gabbard explains, are their efforts in “dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.”

Gabbard has long been critical of lawmakers and the “military-industrial complex” for stoking war between Russia and Ukraine for profit.

“Rather than looking out for what’s in the best interest of the American people, our national security, our country — they see dollar signs when they look at Ukraine,” she told Fox News host Tucker Carlson when Russia first launched their invasion.

“They see how they can line their pockets, how they can look tough, how they can posture themselves in a position where they personally or politically or financially benefit rather than actually thinking about what are the costs and consequences of these actions.”

“And who pays the price?” Gabbard asked. “It’s the American people — and, frankly, the people of Ukraine.”

Her comments at the time prompted the left to accuse her of being a traitor.

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann accused the decorated Iraq War veteran of being a ‘Russian asset’ who needs to be arrested by the military.

“They are Russian Assets and there is a war,” Olbermann said of Gabbard and Carlson. “There’s a case for detaining them militarily. Trials are a sign of good faith and patience on the part of democracy.”

Wants Others to Join Her

Tulsi Gabbard stopped short of switching sides to join the Republicans, nor did she say she would carry on as an Independent. But she did encourage other moderate Democrats to take the same leap by leaving the party.

“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,” she said.

“I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party,” added Gabbard.

The problem being, there are no moderates in the Democrat Party any longer.

The only two who could possibly lay claim to such a label were Senators Joe Manchin (WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), both of whom recently caved on extremist spending in their party’s ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ which was, in reality, a climate and tax hike bill.

Tulsi Gabbard’s departure from the Democrat Party is of little surprise. It only left some wondering why it took this long to officially denounce the woke, warmongering, anti-American party.

She’s in no hurry to head to the GOP either, with other warmongers like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger still – temporarily – serving in the House.

Or where the Senate has a Republican like Mitt Romney who also accused Gabbard of being a Russian asset and spreading “treasonous lies.”

Gabbard, in keeping with her concerns about the Democrats being warmongers, has suggested President Biden will be remembered as “worse than Jimmy Carter” in part because of his responsibility in pushing America toward nuclear war with Russia.

“Biden will be remembered as being worse than Jimmy Carter,” she said.

“Because they’re talking about gas prices and inflation and how things were bad then and now, but they’re ignoring the fact that Carter’s policies didn’t fast-track us into a new Cold War or push us into a place where we’re closer to a nuclear war now than since the Cuban missile crisis,” Gabbard added.

More recently, she shared common cause with former President Donald Trump who urged leaders to remain “cool, calm, and dry” in their response to the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines.

“Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), get a negotiated deal done NOW,” Trump said. “Both sides need and want it. The entire World is at stake.”

Gabbard agreed in independent commentary.

“Anyone who cares about the wellbeing of America and the world must push for a ceasefire and negotiated settlement to bring an end to this war,” she said.

Instead, President Biden has been ratcheting up the rhetoric, recklessly suggesting the world is perilously close to “armageddon” due to Russia’s threats of a nuclear response.

Gabbard also took aim at a ‘domestic terror’ bill proposed by Adam Schiff, saying it would target “half of the country,” and called on Biden to denounce such efforts to weaponize the Justice Department against political opponents.

Rather, Biden has gone the opposite route, as his DOJ raided Mar-a-Lago, then consistently issued subpoenas against political opponents within two months of the midterm elections.

The DOJ has also taken to attacking pro-life Americans, charging 11 activists recently with violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act for blocking the entrance of an abortion clinic in 2021.

Thus far, they have taken no action against leftists who have fire-bombed multiple crisis pregnancy centers. Centers which have been consistent targets of attacks across the country.

The Hawaii Democrat’s track record in trashing her party for being woke is extensive as well.

Earlier this year, she hammered House Democrats for eliminating gendered language from the official House rules.

“It’s the height of hypocrisy for people who claim to be the champions of rights for women to deny the very biological existence of women,” she criticized.

Gabbard appeared on Fox News to discuss legislation she authored which would force Title IX to be applied based on a person’s biological sex. 

Her legislation “was created out of this recognition that there is a biological distinction between men and women and boys and girls and … because of that there needs to be a level playing field for girls and women to be able to compete and play in sports,” she explained.

While not exactly jumping to the Republican Party, Gabbard’s departure from the Democrats is more a commentary on how extreme the resistance has become.

There is no big, wide-open tent in the Democrat Party. Only room for the most rabid of radicals. And Gabbard finally recognizes that fact.
