Former presidential candidate and Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard slammed a ‘domestic terror’ bill proposed by Adam Schiff, saying it would target “half of the country,” and called on President Biden to denounce such efforts.
The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 was introduced in the House last week following mostly peaceful protests in Washington, D.C. that got out of control.
Democrats, in response to the unrest that took place, are seeking to expand the definition of domestic terrorism, according to Real Clear Politics.
Gabbard (HI), in an interview with Fox News Primetime with host Brian Kilmeade, called the bill “so dangerous” and noted it would mostly be targeting a certain group of people.
The legislation would create “a very dangerous undermining of our civil liberties, our freedoms in our Constitution, and a targeting of almost half of the country,” she warned.
“You start looking at obviously, have to be a white person, obviously likely male, libertarians, anyone who loves freedom, liberty, maybe has an American flag outside their house, or people who, you know, attended a Trump rally,” Gabbard said.

Tulsi Gabbard Calls On Biden To Denounce ‘Domestic Terror’ Bill
The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 authorizes three offices — one each within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) — to provide Congress with joint biannual reports assessing the state of domestic terrorism threats, with a specific focus on white supremacists.
Considering every person who attended the mostly peaceful protests in the Capitol and anyone who sought integrity in the elections has been branded a “white supremacist,” the bill is a thinly veiled attack on supporters of President Trump.
Gabbard also took aim at recent comments by former CIA Director John Brennan, who stated the intelligence community is focusing on a pro-Trump “insurgency” that harbors “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.”

Gabbard demanded Biden denounce the bill and Brennan for his comments targeting half the country.
“It moves towards what Joe Biden said in his inauguration speech that it shouldn’t happen which is a dehumanization of your opponent and that’s where his voice is so necessary right now,” she told Kilmeade.
“He is the president of this country, he delivered this speech, his voice, himself became to the American people and he needs to denounce people like John Brennan and their statements, bills like the one Adam Schiff put forward.”
Gabbard continued, noting that Biden must “truly speak to the American people about how we must them together around the constitution and around our bill of rights, around these rights that have been endowed to us by our creator.”

Gabbard Has Been A Rare Voice Of Reason In The Democrat Party
Imagine for a moment that Republicans had introduced a bill targeting left-wing groups such as Black Lives Matter or Antifa.
Because these recent efforts are meant to target “religious extremists” and “libertarians” or Trump supporters, the true fascists in this country have shown themselves.

Tulsi Gabbard has bucked Biden and her party’s extremism for some time now, leaving many openly wondering if she will switch to the GOP in the future.
Earlier this month she hammered House Democrats for eliminating gendered language from the official House rules.

Biden disagreed with Tulsi Gabbard seemingly, signing an executive order on his first day in office which rigs competition in sports by requiring that biological boys be allowed to compete against girls.
Gabbard appeared with Fox News personality Tucker Carlson earlier this month to discuss legislation she introduced last year which would force Title IX to be applied based on whether a person is assigned female at birth.
In other words, stop taking opportunities away from female athletes by allowing biological males to compete in their sports or on their level.
Her legislation “was created out of this recognition that there is a biological distinction between men and women and boys and girls and … because of that there needs to be a level playing field for girls and women to be able to compete and play in sports,” she explained.

Tulsi Gabbard may want to consider a return to the political fray and run as a Republican – in the party of common sense and reason where she rightly belongs.
