Trump Will Quickly ‘Announce A 2024 Campaign’ If Biden Victory Is Certified, NYT Says

According to a New York Times report, Donald Trump has told his advisers that if Democratic candidate Joe Biden is certified as the winner of the 2020 election, the President will announce a 2024 campaign shortly afterward.

If Trump runs again in 2024, he could face either Biden or even Kamala Harris, given the former vice president’s age and questionable mental state.

If Biden Wins, Trump Might Announce A 2024 Bid Quickly

The New York Times reported Thursday, “Some advisers had hoped that Mr. Trump would accept the state of the race by the end of this week, but a looming recount in Georgia may delay that.”

“The president has told some advisers that if the race is certified for Mr. Biden, he will announce a 2024 campaign shortly afterward,” the Times reported.

There have been rumors that Trump’s post-office plans include launching his own television channel or some sort of new media project.

President Trump has been increasingly critical of Fox News and many have speculated he might create his own alternative for conservative audiences.

However, if he chooses to run for president over the course of four years, that might make spending too much time on a new media venture difficult.

Sen. Marco Rubio speculated on a potential Trump run in four years to reporters on Wednesday.
