When is a star just a star and when is it the Star of David? That’s what people have been buzzing about on Twitter all week. The controversy started when Donald Trump tweeted an image of Hillary over the weekend that detractors said was anti-Semitic for its use of a 6 pointed star – said to be referencing the Jewish symbol – along with piles of money.
Although the original tweet was deleted and replaced with a new image, Trump defended himself by saying it wasn’t anti-Semitic at all and that the star just looks like a sheriff’s badge.
Dishonest media is trying their absolute best to depict a star in a tweet as the Star of David rather than a Sheriff’s Star, or plain star!

To further prove his point Trump just tweeted a picture of a “Frozen” sticker book that used the exact same red star:
Where is the outrage for this Disney book? Is this the ‘Star of David’ also?

Not sure why he is continuing this days later, but it sure made Twitter go crazy Wednesday night. Even Hillary Clinton responded to it. And I have to begrudgingly admit that Hillary’s social media team had a witty comeback:

But, really, this is so ridiculous! Can’t we all just “Let It Go?”
