Trump Dismisses Ocasio-Cortez Calling Him Racist – ‘Who Cares?’

President Trump dismissed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after she called him a ‘racist,’ claiming he didn’t know what was said and later asking, “Who cares?”

During an interview last week with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, the New York socialist claimed that illegal immigrants are more American than the President and his supporters.

“The women and children on the border seeking refuge and opportunity in the U.S. with nothing but the shirt on their backs are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be,” she claimed.

She followed that up with the false claim that there is “no question” Trump is racist.

Ocasio-Cortez maintained that Trump has a “proven track record of discrimination against anybody who’s really non-white” in America, adding that “he uses … historic dog whistles of white supremacy.”

Trump Waves Ocasio-Cortez Away

On Monday morning, a reporter tried to bait the President into responding to the allegations and he swatted them away like an irritating fly.

“Mr. President, congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez called you a racist,” the supposed journalist blurted out as Trump was fielding questions.

Indicating that he hadn’t heard the comments or that he may not even know who she is, Trump responded, “Who did?”

“Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez,” the reporter yelled back.

“Who cares? She … ” Trump replied, waving his hand and scoffing at the reporter’s inquiry with a look of disdain.

Ocasio-Cortez Claims She Got Under His Skin

Ocasio-Cortez responded in the only way she knows how – remember the ‘cat-calling‘ comment? – suggesting she’s met guys like Trump in bars many times over the years.

“We got under his skin,” she announced without evidence.

First off, had anybody made a similar comment about ‘women like her at bars’ they’d be pilloried from Hell to high water for being sexist.

Second, it’d be extremely difficult to ‘understand a guy like Trump’ through your work as a bartender since the President does not drink. He’s never had a drink because of the tragic story of his brother Fred, who was an alcoholic and died at the young age of 43.

Why Trump’s Not Racist

The young Democratic socialist has learned very early on that anything you disagree with should be labeled ‘racist’ whether it’s true or not.

Facts, however, are stubborn things, and the facts suggest that Ocasio-Cortez has little idea what she’s talking about.

President Trump has cultivated a roaring economy for all Americans, but his non-racist credentials were truly demonstrated when he drove down unemployment rates for minority groups, with African-American, Asian, and Hispanic unemployment hitting near record lows.

He signed legislation turning the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. into a national historic park and designated a national monument in Kentucky to honor African-American soldiers during the Civil War.

He has been a strong advocate of prison reform, supporting The First Step Act, sentencing reforms, and hosting a Prison Reform Summit where he sought input from over 100 activists, experts, and policymakers, and pardoned Alice Marie Johnson.

He’s Under Her Skin

Despite claiming the contrary, there is no doubt the President is now under Ocasio-Cortez’s skin.

Constantly seeking attention on social media, constantly looking for approval from your radical base, and constantly being told you’re the next big thing – then being waved away by the President, who you think is similar to guys you’ve met in bars, has to be infuriating.
