President Donald Trump tweeted that he hopes former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2020, presumably to repeat his success in the 2016 election.
“I was recently asked if Crooked Hillary Clinton is going to run in 2020? My answer was, ‘I hope so!’” Trump tweeted Monday.

Clinton recently was tricked into saying “vote for Hillary in 2020” in Welsh during an appearance on BBC One during a trip to England. BBC One host Alex Jones had Clinton repeat a phrase in Welsh, then told Clinton what she had said.
“You just said ‘vote for Hillary in 2020,’” Jones said. After laughing, Clinton said “I plead total ignorance.”

Clinton has repeatedly said she will not seek the presidency again in 2020, though that doesn’t stop political commentators from speculating that she will try to run for president a third time.
