Trump Compares First Lady to Jackie O – ‘Let’s Call Her Melania T’

President Trump celebrated his First Lady, comparing her to the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and declaring she should be referred to as ‘Melania T.’

The President was giving an interview with Fox & Friends Friday morning, discussing plans for a new Air Force One color scheme. Trump wants to upgrade to a red, white, and blue palette, away from the current cyan, white and blue.

The modified Boeing 747 has held those same colors since 1962 when President John F. Kennedy commissioned the plane. His wife helped determine the design.

Trump gushed over the new American colors as he discussed the Air Force and Boeing’s plans to deliver two replacement planes in 2024.

“I like the concept of red, white and blue, and the classic, and I think it’s going to look much better actually,” he said.

Mrs. T

The President, explaining that it was time to move on, heaped praise upon the First Lady as being equally as glamorous as the beloved Jackie O.

“You know, the baby blue doesn’t fit with us,” Trump explained. “And people get used to something, but – and it was Jackie O and that’s good. But we have our own Jackie O today, it’s called Melania.”

“Melania!” he exclaimed. “We’ll call it ‘Melania T,’ okay?”

Trump also noted that Melania is well known for having similar qualities to Jackie O.

“People love her,” he said of his wife. “People love her. She gets no credit from the media but she gets credit from the people.”

Shunned by the Media

Melania consistently leads her husband in the popularity polls. And while the people’s thoughts are what matter, the uber-beautiful First Lady is consistently shunned by a biased media.

Mrs. Trump has been given nowhere near the same courtesy and consideration when it comes to magazine covers in the United States as former first lady Michelle Obama was, despite having been a professional model.

“If the Trumps were Democrats, Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month,” actor James Woods has said.

Instead, they treat her like a pariah because of their deep-seated hatred of her husband.

Despite that, her sense of fashion has been praised by famed designers Dolce & Gabbana, while Vogue has agreed with Trump, comparing Melania’s style to that of Jackie O or Nancy Reagan.
