Trump Derangement Syndrome has reached a fever pitch.
Retiring Republican senator Bob Corker has been severely critical of President Donald Trump in recent days. Now, he’s turning his back on the president, telling a CNN reporter that, if given the chance, he wouldn’t back Trump during the campaign again.

This is a completely cynical move, of course. Corker endorsed Trump during the campaign and appeared at a rally with him. And it was still early in the campaign!

Here’s the real truth about Corker: He’s still sour that Trump didn’t pick him to be secretary of state. And he would have gotten beaten like a drum in a primary contest in Tennessee.

Yup. That about sums it up. Corker is a sore loser who is taking potshots at the president because his political career is over. He’s not a hero. He’s not a responsible statesman. If he felt the way about Trump that he does now, he would have never endorsed him.
Corker’s a fair weather friend, and the weather isn’t very fair to Donald Trump right now. So, of course Corker skedaddled…right into the manipulative arms of the media. This is a coward’s response. Corker can’t stand on his own, so he’s enlisting the media to back him up. If Corker had the courage of his convictions, he would’ve left the Senate a long time ago.
Pathetic. Or as our president says, sad!
