A fired-up President Trump walked into a scheduled meeting on infrastructure with Democrat leaders, blasted them over conducting “phony investigations,” and promptly walked out.

Multiple sources said the ‘meeting’ lasted just minutes as Trump fumed following remarks from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi alleging that the President was engaged in a cover-up.

Trump has declared numerous times that it’s time to move forward after over two years of investigation into the Russian collusion hoax, declaring that Democrats are not entitled to do-overs and perpetual inquiries as a means to stall his agenda.

On Wednesday morning, Pelosi held a meeting with Democrats to momentarily quell the impeachment wing of her party but still emerged saying the President had “engaged in a cover-up” regarding the Russia probe.

The President didn’t take kindly to that comment, and the fireworks began immediately when he walked into a meeting with the likes of Pelosi, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, and Senator Dick Durbin.

Meeting Adjourned

According to the White House, Trump let Democrats know he would no longer work with them on legislation while they continue to engage in frivolous witch hunts.

“I walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer, Speaker Pelosi, I want to do infrastructure,” he said at a press gathering in the Rose Garden shortly thereafter. “But you can’t do it under these circumstances.”

“Get these phony investigations over with,” Trump demanded.

Specifically addressing Pelosi’s comments, Trump responded: “I don’t do cover-ups.”

Durbin confirmed that the President essentially walked in, hammered the Democrats, and walked out.

“President Trump walked into his Cabinet Room and told the Democratic leaders he had invited to discuss infrastructure that the meeting was canceled,” Durbin wrote on social media. “He objected to the ongoing Congressional investigation of his alleged obstruction of justice.”

He added that the whole affair lasted “no more than five minutes.”

Schumer said the unleashed President’s attack on the resistance party “would make your jaw drop.”

Good.

Blasts the Media Too

President Trump also took the time to criticize the media for helping to amplify these perpetual baseless investigations from the left.

Displaying a sign that read “no collusion, no obstruction,” Trump took the mainstream liberal media to task.

“This whole thing was a takedown attempt at the president of the United States, and honestly you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for the way you reported so dishonestly,” he said.

In March, the President slammed Democrats and the media for trying to defraud the American people with “ridiculous bulls***.”

Now, the people will have to wait on an infrastructure deal, badly needed and enjoying bipartisan support, because the Democrats are still throwing a temper tantrum over the 2016 election.

There was no collusion. There was no obstruction. And there is no cover-up. It’s time to stop dragging America down, Democrats.
