Donald Trump may be president, but he’s first and foremost a showman.
That was plain to see during his long-winded CPAC speech today, delivered before thousands of conservative activists outside of Washington, D.C.
Going into the speech, we learned that President Trump was going to announce a new round of tough sanctions on the North Korean regime.
These sanctions, which are the toughest the U.S. has ever imposed, were a welcome sign that the Administration is serious about curtailing the nuclear threat that North Korea represents.
But Trump had a little fun with the audience too. In fact, he let the crowd in on one of his best-kept secrets: he tries deliberately to hide his bald spot.
Take a look:

Trump recently suffered some embarrassment on his way to Air Force One when strong gusts of wind blew his hair around, revealing his bald spot:

Clearly, our president values his appearance, seeing it as a crucial aspect to his job as the chief executive of our country. Plus, Trump was a show-business star before he ever thought about running for president. He knows how a full head of hair is a more powerful statement than someone with thinning wisps for locks.
It’s great that President Trump also knows how to be human. He didn’t have to tell the audience his biggest fear. But he did anyway, because he’s just a regular guy like the rest of us, sometimes insecure about how he looks in public.
