The cat’s out of the bag!

President Trump is set to deliver his speech to CPAC, an annual gathering of conservative activists just outside Washington, D.C., in a few moments. But we already know the surprise he’s planning for guests. And boy, is it big!

According to the Daily Mail,

The Trump administration plans to announce harsh new sanctions on North Korea today to increase pressure on Pyongyang for its nuclear and ballistic missile tests.

President Donald Trump is expected to talk about the new sanctions during a mid-morning speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference, and the Treasury Department will get into the details later in the day.

A senior U.S. administration official, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, called the new penalties ‘the largest package of new sanctions against the North Korea regime’, without giving details.

Hell yeah! This is just what we need!

The North Korean regime has been threatening our country for too long. President Trump has vowed to get tough on the communist regime, and has even ordered his administration to start drafting plans for real military action should it become necessary.

When a crazed regime is threatening America with nuclear annihilation, we can’t be too careful. Hence, Trump is taking the safe approach, hitting the regime with bigger sanctions than ever before.

More from the Daily Mail report:

The new U.S. sanctions will be announced while Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, is visiting South Korea. She’s attending the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games along with the president’s press secretary.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence had hinted at new sanctions two weeks ago during a stop in Tokyo that preceded his visit to South Korea for the Pyeongchang Olympics.

No doubt this will really get the crowd roaring at CPAC.
