Thugs Broke Into Her Home And Attacked Her… Then THIS HAPPENED!

A Savannah woman was put in a precarious position when two thugs broke into her home on Monday night while her husband was at work and her teenage daughter was asleep in her room. Shannon Linton was attacked by one of the men but luckily she was able to grab a shotgun and shoot at the intruders!

“[I] got up thinking it was morning time, and it was my husband, got up to go greet him…and got punched in the face and pushed back into my bedroom,” Linton told WTOC. “I think when he punched me, he thought he’d knocked me out. Because he kept coming toward, down the hallway. And that’s when I went right back into the bedroom and grabbed the gun.”

As soon as the robbers, who had already snatched two laptops from the home, saw Linton’s 12-gauge shotgun they ran from the home.

“The only thing I can remember is the guy at the door hollering ‘oh…’ and running,” she told the news station. “And I just fired, like I said, all I could think was it was him or me. And I had to protect my daughter.”

The laptops were recovered near the home and nothing else was taken, but the burglars remain at large.

After the ordeal, Linton felt empowered and had a feminist message, although not one that liberal feminists would approve of: “I did learn that at least now I know that I can protect us. I don’t have to rely on my husband, if, when he is at work, I know I can do it. I don’t have to be afraid of that anymore.”

You go, girl!
