‘The View’ Hosts Lose Their Minds: Accuse President Trump Of Killing People – Claim He’ll Try Pandemic Power Grab

In the end, the hosts of "The View" are just jealous that Trump's briefings secure far higher ratings than their show ever will.

The View

The hosts of the ABC talk show “The View” typically spend their days trying to one-up each other with the most deranged attacks possible on President Donald Trump. They were in rare form this morning, however, when one of them said that “people are dying” because of Trump, while another nonsensically claimed that Trump may launch a pandemic power grab of sorts.

Co-host Sunny Hostin, who is known for her radically liberal views, got the foolishness started when she claimed that “people are dying” because of Trump’s press briefings—she called for networks to stop airing them.

“I just don’t even think that certain networks should even air these press conferences,” Hostin said. “I think they are akin to Trump’s rallies. I think they’re dangerous for the American public. I mean, I almost think that you listen to them at your own peril.”

Hostin went on to say that she is worried about the number of people tuning in to the daily press conferences. “I think it is endangering American lives. I don’t even know at this point why people are tuning in and why networks are broadcasting it. I think you don’t tune in,” she said. “Networks don’t broadcast it, and then on the back end, you only listen to people like Fauci, perhaps like Sanjay Gupta, but you don’t listen to them in real time because I think people’s lives are at stake.”

Not stopping there, Hostin circled back to this later in the show when she claimed that the problem is that the office of the presidency gives Trump credibility. “People believe him. They believe him. People believe him because he’s the President of the United States, and he’s giving misinformation to their own peril,” Hostin concluded. “People are dying because of some of the information that’s being disseminated from these clown press conferences.”

Hostin wasn’t the only co-host of “The View” who let loose on Trump today. Meghan McCain, who is supposed to be the conservative voice on the panel, got in on the action as well when she expressed her alleged fears that Trump will use the coronavirus pandemic to launch a “draconian” power grab “akin to the Patriot Act.”

“There is an argument being made by some people in media that the press conferences shouldn’t be being covered,” McCain said. “My argument for keeping the press conferences is I think we’re at a place where President Trump— he’s always been a sort of totalitarian president in a way that we’ve never historically seen before.”

“My fear is that he’s going to play on the American public’s fears in a draconian way and possibly do something akin to the Patriot Act going forward where he uses this moment in time to play off our fears for his own benefit,” McCain continued, sounding far more like a liberal infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome than like a conservative.

“I think seeing front and center what he and his team— I for one became even more fearful of what was happening when I saw how inept Jared Kushner was,” she concluded. “So, while he has a team of doctors like Dr. Fauci that we are all in agreement is doing a great job, my fear is that this is a moment in time that can be manipulated by the powers and the government in place. I want to see front and center what he’s saying no matter how ridiculous some of the press conference commentary ebbs into.”

It’s unfortunate that ABC continues to give these nutcases a platform to spout their anti-Trump nonsense every day. If anyone asks you for an example of why so many Americans have lost all faith in the media, all you have to do is show them an episode of “The View.” In the end, the hosts of “The View” are just jealous that Trump’s briefings secure far higher ratings than their show ever will.
