Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter today to slam the recent spate of spoiled athletes, like San Francisco 49ers backup QB Colin Kaepernick, who have disrespected our flag and National Anthem.
After former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose tweeted, “Salute to all @Nfl players & teams that peacefully did protests for change. #standfornothingfallforanything,” Cruz went off and called for a boycott of the “rich spoiled athletes.”

Cruz also retweeted supermodel Kate Upton’s powerful message.
The players who are refusing to stand for the anthem to make a political point are being divisive and further fanning the flames of discord and anger in our country. It’s their right to do so and our right to call them out and stop supporting them and their products.

Those athletes are a disgrace, and stupid. We don’t have a police brutality problem, we have a criminal problem, MOSTLY caused by the blacks.
First of all, I do not understand by disrespecting the flag how it helps the situation. Second, if you are going to be disrespectful, the be prepared for the backlash. Third, what did you do for your country today? Why are Colin and other players disrespecting the flag and not disturbed and upset with the killings in Detroit? It is hard to empathize with humans that kill each other on a daily basis, have long rap sheets, do not take care of their children, burn buildings, cars etc., when they protest, and then kill innocent police officers. All you are doing is pissing off people. It does not help your cause whatsoever. If you really want to make a change, start a group to help figure out how to solve the issues. Donate some of your money to these neighborhoods. Last, but not least, go live in these neighborhoods. Put your money where your mouth is! It all starts at home folks, bring your children up right!

That is disrespectful to everyone of us who served to defend our nation.
When you see who the protesters are it’s un derstandable.

It’s fairly easy to see why. Neither you or the rich ball player has ever served your country but you both live high off the hog on it. You sure like the safety the military gives you. You love the freedom to shoot your mouth off. You both lack the backbone to respect the country that made you free.
