On Wednesday, Taliban soldiers were seen in a video celebrating, while parading around captured American vehicles and weapons outside the city of Kandahar, Afghanistan.

These are the U.S. weapons and gear left behind by President Joe Biden’s messy withdrawal from the country. The Agence France-Press reported that the images were authentic.

Taliban Flags Can Be Seen Flying Behind U.S. Weaponry

In video, viewers can see Taliban flags flying from an enormous convoy of transports and armored fighting vehicles. The Taliban also reportedly flew a captured U.S. Black Hawk helicopter over Kandahar, with a Taliban flag flying from it.

CNN reported, “Fighters waved white Taliban flags from Humvees and armored SUVs at the military parade, where many of the vehicles appeared in near perfect condition. The Taliban also organized an air display with a recently seized Black Hawk helicopter flying past the militants along the road while also trailing a white Taliban flag.”

“In one video, militants dressed in US-style uniforms and holding US-made weapons examined a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter parked inside a hangar,” CNN noted.

The UK Guardian observed “white-bearded Taliban leaders waited in the shade in the players’ dugout, reclining on armchairs behind wooden coffee tables as they waited for the parade to start. Others sat crossed-legged on the grass, while hundreds more gathered in the terrace stand to watch.”

“Pick-up trucks laden with supporters rolled past the convoy of military vehicles, some armed with heavy weapons and machine guns,” the Guardian reported.
