Over Independence Day weekend, one man caught two middle-aged women attempting to dismantle and steal his family’s beach canopy. He rushed over to confront them and started recording the incident with his phone.

What is amazing to me is the sense of entitlement and outrage when the women are caught. As if the man is the one doing something wrong! Gone are the old days when you could trust your fellow beach-goers not to covet your stuff and pounce as soon as you leave. Sad commentary on today’s dog-eat-dog society.
