Eagles of Death Metal front man Jesse Hughes, who witnessed the Paris terror attacks first hand when the venue at which his band was playing became the site of 89 deaths, said he has had a slight change of heart and mind regarding gun control.
“… Until nobody has guns everybody has to have them,” Hughes said. “Because I don’t ever want to see anything like this ever happen again.”
Hughes added that the Paris terrorist attacks shouldn’t be exploited to clamp down on guns.

“I think the only way my mind has been changed is maybe that until nobody has guns everybody has to have them, because I don’t ever want to see anything like this ever happen again,” an emotional Hughes told French outlet iTele. “I saw people die that maybe could have lived.”
He also questioned whether French gun control laws did anything to save the lives of concert attendees when chaos broke out on Nov. 13.
“Gun control kind of doesn’t have anything to do with it, but if you want to bring it up I’ll ask you: Did your French gun control stop a single f**king person from dying at the Bataclan?” Hughes said. “And if anyone can answer yes, I’d like to hear it, because I don’t think so.”

The lead singer went on to say that the only thing that stopped the terrorist attacks were the ‘good guys’ with guns, who he described as “some of the bravest men that I have ever seen in my life charging head first into the face of death.”
