SHOCKING REPORT: Dozens of Afghan Troops Training in the US Have Gone Missing

This should make every American rethink the Obama administration’s insistence that they are thoroughly vetting Syrian refugees coming into the US.

A new report indicates that 44 Afghan troops training in the United States have disappeared in less than two years – 25 have gone AWOL in 2015, and another 19 this year.

And those are foreign soldiers – overseen by the U.S. military. How are we supposed to trust “refugees” who haven’t been vetted by anyone??

Via Reuters:

Forty-four Afghan troops visiting the United States for military training have gone missing in less than two years, presumably in an effort to live and work illegally in America, Pentagon officials said.

Although the number of disappearances is relatively small — some 2,200 Afghan troops have received military training in the United States since 2007 — the incidents raise questions about security and screening procedures for the programs.

They are also potentially embarrassing for U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration, which has spent billions of dollars training Afghan troops as Washington seeks to extricate itself from the costly, 15-year-old war. The disclosure could fuel criticism by supporters of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has accused the Obama administration of failing to properly vet immigrants from Muslim-majority countries and has pledged a much tougher stance if he wins.

For those wondering, foreign troops do occasionally go AWOL (as do American troops), but one top official referred to the number of Afghans missing as concerning and “out of the ordinary.”

While Reuters tries to downplay the number as relatively small, the numbers above indicate that over 18% of the Afghan troops brought in annually go missing.

If one were to extrapolate that out to Obama’s Syrian refugee program, which has allowed 85,000 refugees (38,901 Muslims) into the country, we’re looking at about 15,000 “lost” individuals (7,000 Muslims).

Lavinia Limon, president of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, has previously stated “We firmly believe that refugees are the most thoroughly vetted people to enter this country.”

The White House similarly has declared that ‘refugees already undergo the most rigorous screening of any foreigners entering the country.’

If we’re not even keeping an eye on those who have proven military experience entering this country however, there’s little chance the President will be thoroughly vetting others.
