This morning, Sean Hannity sounded off on a variety of topics. Not only did he take Hillary through the wringer, but he suggested more bad news could be coming for former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
On Fox and Friends, Hannity actually suggested that McCabe could be facing criminal charges for something related to not being fully truthful while testifying under oath.
McCabe was, of course, fired late Friday evening. He was less than two days away from being able to retire with full pension benefits after serving over a decade in the FBI. The media is treating the firing like a heartless political action done to make someone suffer after they disagreed with the President.
But McCabe crossed a line professionally, and it was recommended he be fired by the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and the Inspector General. Here’s what Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement about the firing:
Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately.”
This recommendation stems from McCabe not being fully truthful in his role in an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. The New York Times reports: “Mr. McCabe is ensnared in an internal review that includes an examination of his decision in 2016 to allow F.B.I. officials to speak with reporters about an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. The Justice Department’s inspector general concluded that Mr. McCabe was not forthcoming during the review, according to the people briefed on the matter.”

“If I had to suspect, you are going to see criminal charges against Andrew McCabe and I would also argue that it’s going to go a lot deeper.”
Remember: Hannity has the ear of President Trump, and is privy to a lot more than we realize. Perhaps he knows something about McCabe that the rest of us don’t.
If it’s true that McCabe may be charged with breaking the law, it will certainly bring a twist to the ongoing Robert Mueller-led probe into possible collusion between Donald Trump and Russia in the 2016 election.
