Sen. Chuck Schumer just showed America how ridiculous his mindset is.
Today on Meet the Press, Schumer announced that he wants Republicans to choose someone else to sit on Supreme Court bench.
The boisterous Minority Leader wants to sit down with President Trump and the Senate to come up with a “mainstream” selection instead of confirming Judge Neil Gorsuch. Did I miss civics class? Obama got his liberal judges, and Schumer is afraid of Trump’s conservative judge?
Schumer’s filibuster is losing steam in the Senate, and he has no more cards to play. It looks like Schumer is trying to fall back on “we’re in this together” as he plays to whatever moderates he can reach on the Republican side.
“When a nominee doesn’t get 60 votes, you shouldn’t change the rules — you should change the nominee.”
Schumer should have used that same terminology when former Sen. Harry Reid changed the rules to help Democrats legislate a couple of years ago.

Sen. Mitch McConnell said Judge Neil Gorsuch would be confirmed by the end of Friday, so Schumer’s window for crying is dwindling down.
@MeetThePress Obamas appointees were voted in w/ Reps support.2 in fact! If Hilary won,no guarantee she would keep Garland as nominee!Fake outrage!

@txgforever @joepaulk @MeetThePress Schumer said same on Senate floor in 2007 – said Pres should not nom SC justice during final year.

@MeetThePress What a hypocrite!!! Yet another reason why term limits are so desperately needed.

@MeetThePress DEMS are full of s#*t, they are exercising hangster rule; you snub one of ours, we snub one of yours. Do the right thing confirm Gorsuch.

@MeetThePress @SenSchumer we don’t change the nominee because the losers don’t like him. What matters is the GOP likes him. you won’t get far with this divisiveness

@MeetThePress #CharlatanSchumer is talking about his own party. Sorry, but WE REMEMBER when you #Democrap skanks changed the rules for political gain.

Sorry Chuckie, nobody is biting on your suggestion. It’s time conservatives get judges on the bench to offset what you have voted in the last few years.
