Radically liberal actress Rosie O’Donnell, who has been in a bitter feud with Donald Trump for over a decade, spoke out on Monday to predict that the current president will lose in a landslide in November.
“I think November we’re gonna be a landslide and take him out, that’s what I have to believe,” O’Donnell said when asked about the upcoming election during an appearance on Marc Maron’s podcast. “I firmly believe that the heart of the nation is bigger than his mental illness and people will rise to the occasion and vote him out. That’s what I hope.”
O’Donnell went on to talk about the two times she met Trump in person, and to say that she holds “The Apprentice” creator and producer Mark Burnett personally responsible for the president’s rise to power. “I met him once, twice, once at his wedding, because when he was marrying Marla Maples, we had shared a mutual leading man,” she said. “And then I met him once at the celebrity, I mean at the ‘Survivor’ finale. I was the host of the ‘Survivor’ finale and he was in talking terms with Mark Burnett to see about doing ‘The Apprentice.’”
O’Donnell then confirmed that she blames Burnett “for the vast majority of the problems” America is facing, claiming that she had warned him about giving Trump a platform. “I feel Mark Burnett is directly, personally responsible,” O’Donnell said. “He was very kind and a great guy and I really liked him and then he did this ‘Apprentice.’ And I kept saying to him, ‘What the hell are you doing? What are you putting up this guy as Mr. [Successful]?’”
O’Donnell has made many predictions about Trump over the years that have turned out to be dead wrong. Last year, she predicted that he would be arrested before the 2020 election could take place, which seems unlikely to happen now to say the least.
“I think he’ll be arrested,” O’Donnell told TMZ at the time. “I believe in America and I believe in our political system and I believe we will right the wrong of the tyranny of Donald Trump.”
As you can see, O’Donnell has one of the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome of anyone in the entertainment industry, and that’s saying a lot! It’s impossible to take anything she says about Trump seriously, so we can only imagine how unhinged she’ll become when he gets reelected and is given four more years to make our country great again.
