Roseanne Barr Reemerges To Claim Coronavirus Is A Ploy To ‘Get Rid’ Of Her Generation

While Barr's theory about coronavirus may be a bit off, it continues to be clear that she has been blacklisted by Hollywood because of her conservative view.

Roseanne Barr just reemerged to claim that coronavirus is a ploy to rid the world of her generation.

Fox News reported that over the weekend, Barr appeared remotely on former “Saturday Night Live” star Norm Macdonald’s YouTube series, “Quarantined With Norm Macdonald,” in which he calls up celebrities to see what life under quarantine is like for them. During the interview, Barr did not hesitate to discuss what she feels is the truth behind the COVID-19 pandemic.

“You know what it is, Norm? I think they’re just trying to get rid of all my generation,” Barr said. “The boomer ladies that, you know, that inherited their, you know, are widows. They inherited the money so they got to go wherever the money is and figure out a way to get it from people.”

Macdonald appeared to agree with Barr, at least in part. “Because there’s so many boomers that have money and do no work,” he said. “So if you got them out of society— that would be a good thriller.”

Barr, 67, went on to say that she is practicing social distancing on the island of Hawaii, saying that there is only “one [coronavirus] case on the island” and that most people there are social distancing and “doing what they are supposed to.” It has since been reported that there actually is much more than one case in Hawaii on each island, and that four people in the state have already died of coronavirus.

Barr ended the interview by saying that socially distancing has given her time to look into filing a lawsuit against ABC for cancelling her television show “Roseanne” back in 2018. “I have the time now to research and come up with the perfect lawsuit,” she said. “Roseanne” was cancelled after Barr posted a tweet about Barack Obama’s former adviser Valerie Jarrett that many felt was racist. The show has since been rebooted as “The Conners,” which airs on ABC with the entire cast aside from Barr.

While Barr’s theory about coronavirus may be a bit off, it continues to be clear that she has been blacklisted by Hollywood because of her conservative view. Liberal actors are given free reign to say whatever crazy things that they want, yet Barr continues to be forced to pay for one offensive comment that she made years ago simply because she has been unafraid to express her support for President Donald Trump. It’s time for Hollywood to forgive Barr, and allow her to resume her career in the entertainment world.
