Hollywood actor and director Rob Reiner continued to allow his anti-Donald Trump obsession to consume him on Sunday when he suggested that the president is an accessory to murder for his response to coronavirus.

“I’m not a lawyer, but it seems to me if you’re the most influential person in America and you tell the public that a deadly viral pandemic is a hoax & countless citizens accept that as reality, do nothing to protect themselves then end up dead, you might be an accessory,” Reiner tweeted.

Reiner was repeating the frequently discredited claim that Trump called the coronavirus a “hoax” during a rally last month. In reality, the president never called coronavirus a hoax, and instead described the way Democrats have politicized the virus as a hoax, according to Breitbart News.

This is not the first time that Reiner has tried to use coronavirus to suggest that Trump is a murderer. Last week, he accused Trump of “causing people to die in NY to DIE.”

Contrary to what Reiner and his fellow Hollywood elites say, Trump has been doing everything in his power to protect the American people from coronavirus.

This is a virus that originated on the other side of the globe, and it has spread to countries all over the world, with no leaders being able to stop it. People would be dying of coronavirus in the U.S. regardless of who was in power, so to blame this on Trump is laughable.

Reiner has shown time and time again that he can’t be trusted when it comes to Trump, as he will say absolutely anything to disparage him. He really should take a break from social media, and start looking into how he can get treatment for his Trump Derangement Syndrome.
