President Trump’s campaign is planning to sue CNN for a recently revealed pro-impeachment bias permeating the network.
Charles J. Harder, a high-profile lawyer representing the President, cited years of bias at the network as a backdrop along with the latest evidence showing the network purposefully pushing an impeachment narrative, as a means to demand “a substantial payment of damages.”
In a letter to the company, and in particular president and CEO Jeff Zucker, Harder writes, “Your own employees appear to state that CNN is focused on trying to ‘take down President Trump,’ driven by a ‘personal vendetta’ … rather than reporting the news in an objective manner.”
Anybody watching CNN for the last three years knows there is a vast amount of truth to the accusation.

Substantial Payment
Harder continues by sorrowfully explaining that, while bias has been prevalent in the mainstream media for decades now, it has never experienced this level of blatant vitriol for a sitting President.
“Never in the history of this country has a President been the subject of such a sustained barrage of unfair, unfounded, unethical and unlawful attacks by so-called ‘mainstream’ news, as the current situation,” he writes.
As such, the campaign will be seeking compensation for damages – and a lot of it.
“Accordingly, my clients intend to file legal action against you, to seek compensatory damages, treble damages, punitive damages, injunctive relief, reimbursement of legal costs, and all other available legal and equitable remedies, to the maximum extent permitted by law,” the letter states.

Stay on Impeachment
The letter to CNN cites several quotes from a series of videos released by undercover journalist James O’Keefe and his group Project Veritas, which show numerous employees at the network complaining about the constant coverage of the President.
Especially in regards to impeachment, setting the narrative for the Democrats to engage in their baseless inquiry.
Christian Sierra, a Media Coordinator at CNN, states: “There’s just nothing we can do if Zucker wants impeachment every single day to
be the top story … He wants impeachment above all else.”
At one point, Zucker is heard saying, “So, my point here is, I know there’s 7,000 impeachment stories that – Look, I am the one that’s saying we should just stay on impeachment.”

Another Battle in the Long War Against Fake News
The potential lawsuit against CNN is one in a very long line of public battles between the network and the White House, including having unruly reporters credentials revoked.
That reporter, Jim Acosta, recently wrote a book titled, “The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America.”
“In Mr. Trump’s campaign against what he calls ‘Fake News,’ CNN Chief White House Correspondent, Jim Acosta, is public enemy number one,” the intro reads.
Acosta is at the helm of a network whose pro-impeachment bias is being brought to light and the only way to fight back may be through the power of the almighty dollar.
