Earlier this week, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced that his city would disobey federal law and continue to be a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants.
During a news conference, the liberal mayor rejected President-elect Donald Trump’s call to enforce America’s immigration laws and mainained that Chicago would protect illegal immigrations from deportation.
Well, while Chicago continues to be an illegal sanctuary city, cartoonist A.F. Branco brilliantly revealed what the Windy City really should be known as, America’s murder capital.
Mayor Emanuel has failed to reduce violent crime in Chicago and although he may tout his city’s refusal to follow federal immigration law, he is probably unlike to celebrate the hundreds of murders that occur in his jurisdiction.
