A Majority of Americans Support President Donald Trump’s Syrian Strikes

President Donald Trump’s administration shocked the world earlier this week by taking action against Syria, after deadly chemical attacks.

The liberal media wants us to believe the move was controversial. But now the poll numbers are out, and show that 57% of Americans support the strike! That means Americans are already seeing the strike as a success, and are impressed with Trump’s unique leadership abilities.

This is incredible, from CBS News:

Fifty-seven percent of Americans approve of the airstrike against Syrian military targets — calling immoral the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons that led to the strike — but most are leery of any military involvement beyond airstrikes, a CBS News poll shows.

President Trump’s overall approval rating edged up, though most respondents voice unease about his approach to Syria going forward, and say Congress must authorize further actions there.

Few Americans are willing to see the U.S. get involved in Syria beyond the use of airstrikes. Only 18 percent would want ground troops. Half of Republicans would limit involvement to either airstrikes or diplomacy, and Democrats largely would focus on diplomatic efforts.

Trump campaigned on a platform of “America First.” But America cannot stand by and allow such atrocities to happen. Obama knew Syria still had chemical weapons and did nothing, as he was unwilling to stand up to Russia, their ally.

Trump is making it known throughout the Middle East that there is real leadership in the White House, and our military is standing by to keep the peace…

The attacks were well targeted and limited deaths, while sending a crystal-clear message. That is much better than the senseless bombings we saw during the Obama-years, which killed too many and only made America weaker.

Do you support the targeted military strikes in Syria? Please leave us a comment (below) and tell us what you think.
