Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson’s Has The Perfect Solution To The Bathroom Law Controversy

Phil Robertson

Phil Robertson, the Duck Dynasty star, conservative cultural icon, and patriarch of the famed Robertson family, has an insane idea regarding the bathroom controversy springing up across our nation:

“Men should use the men’s bathroom and women should use the women’s bathroom.”

Ya know, that idea is so crazy it just might work.

The state of North Carolina just wants people of different biological sexes to use separate bathrooms. Sure, the Obama administration says that having separate bathrooms is the “new civil rights movement,” and sure, men identify as women, and left is right, and up is down, and on and on … but damn it, Phil wants to see the country exercise a little common sense.

Wouldn’t that be nice?

So here is Robertson’s “radical idea.”

Via The Blaze:

Phil Robertson, the famously conservative patriarch of A&E’s hit “Duck Dynasty” franchise, is offering a “radical” response to the controversy of North Carolina’s transgender bathroom law.

“This is Phil Robertson from Duck Commander and I’ve got a radical idea,” Robertson wrote in an email.

“Men should use the men’s bathroom and women should use the women’s bathroom,” he continued. “Just because a man may ‘feel’ like a woman doesn’t mean he should be able to share a bathroom with my daughter, or yours. That used to be called common sense. Now it’s called bigoted.”

The “Duck Dynasty” star is teaming up with Citizens United to raise money off the controversy that so many fellow TV and Hollywood celebrities are taking a stand against.

Robertson would also add, “The Judeo-Christian values that led America to greatness are under full assault by the mob mentality of political correctness, and we’re slowly losing our soul.”

What may constitute common sense to you or I or even Phil doesn’t seem to apply to liberals, however.

Just last month, Robertson was criticized for praying at a Sprint Cup Series race in which he asked for “a Jesus man” to get elected to the White House. Think about that – “a Jesus man” is controversial.

Fittingly, the Texas Motor Speedway president, Eddie Gossage, compared Robertson’s right to pray to those who complain about the bathroom laws, saying everyone has a right to free speech.

“Bruce Springsteen cancels his show in North Carolina on his viewpoints and a lot of people agreed with him and a lot of people disagree with him,” Gossage said. “I defend Bruce Springsteen’s rights to take his position and, if you do that, then you’ve got to defend everybody else’s, too.”

Everyone has a right to free speech? Look at that – another “radical” idea.
