It’s no secret that Hollywood is extremely liberal, with few if any individuals allowed to express or support conservative views in public. Those in Hollywood that dare to stray from the liberal mindset are rarely praised, and instead isolated from their peers.
Hollywood’s far-left political beliefs have been on full display in recent months, with multiple celebrities, like Meryl Streep, using their platform to viciously attack President Donald J. Trump on a regular basis.
Now, music legend Pat Boone is taking a stand against Hollywood’s vicious anti-Trump attitude, telling Fox News that Hollywood is trying to “vilify” our president.

In the interview, Boone explained that “The fact that he is the President of the United States does not earn him any respect at all. In fact it makes him an easy target.” The music legend also blamed late night talk shows and Saturday Night Live for fueling much of the negativity surrounding President Trump:
I do think there are powerful forces and people in powerful positions who hold very contrary views. They will — from ‘SNL’ and TV…— lampoon, and viciously for laughs. And late night talk show hosts they ridicule, and in effect do more than ridicule.
Boone also told Fox that he believes the president has relied on his faith more and more in recent months, something he did not do very often on the campaign trail.
“Trump is a fairly recent professed Christian…. It was only in the last year or two that he has had input from Christian leaders and ministers, and I think he has come to fully understand what being a Christian is. There is more of an overt evidence of faith in Trump than there ever was in Obama.”
This was not the first time Pat Boone has spoken out in defense of President Trump. After Meryl Streep attack the president, Boone said that the liberal actress never gave Trump a “chance.”
