A parade of vehicles this past weekend featured Cuban-Americans honking their horns and demonstrating their support for President Trump, an obvious reply to Bernie Sanders’ recent comments supporting former dictator Fidel Castro.
“An organized caravan of cars was blasting horns, waving flags and shouting through megaphones letting the world know about their support for President Donald Trump,” the Miami Herald reported.
Some people reportedly hung out their sunroofs and windows waving flags in support of Trump, along with American flags and those from other Latin countries. Some even had MAGA hats, something the media has told us is super-racist.
The Herald notes:
The caravan had their car windows painted with slogans like “Vote for Trump,” “No Communism,” “Viva Trump,” “Free Cuba, “Cambio es ya” (change is now) and “Abajo La Dictadura” (down with dictatorships).
One witness said many in the caravan of cars were young people, a demographic typically viewed as being a strong suit for Sanders.
“I was very happy to see kids fighting and saying they do not want communism in the U.S.,” they told the Herald.

Bernie ?’s Fidel
Sanders raised the ire recently of many a Cuban-American when he openly praised – on multiple occasions – the vile former dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro.
In an interview with “60 Minutes” last weekend, the Vermont Senator shocked viewers when he praised Castro’s implementation of “a massive literacy program,” asking if it was such a bad thing “even though Fidel Castro did it?”
“We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it’s unfair to simply say everything is bad,” he added.
Sure, Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer but his homemade recipes … to die for! Literally.
Sanders doubled down on the idea that Fidel taught his people that ‘reading is fundamental’ at a town hall event hosted by CNN’s Chris Cuomo shortly thereafter.
“There was a lot of folks in Cuba at that point who were illiterate. He formed a literacy brigade, they went out and helped people learn to read and write,” he explained. “You know what? I think teaching people to read and write is a good thing.”
WOW! Bernie Sanders just doubled down on his defense of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s literacy program at tonight’s #CNNTownHall.

Bernie Going to Lose Florida?
Many have speculated that Sanders’ ill-advised comments would not go over well in parts of Florida where many people who escaped the Castro regime currently reside.
This caravan could portend trouble for the pro-communist Democrat presidential candidate.

The phrase “no communism” painted on car windows is a direct shot at the current frontrunner to challenge Trump. They even had Sanders’ name on one such sign, crossed out.
The Democrat was, after all, praised for his comments on the front page of a state-run newspaper in Cuba.
“Granma, the Communist Party newspaper, prominently displayed a report about Sanders and his praise of ‘some of the social programs implemented by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro,'” the Miami Herald relayed.
Cuban-Americans in Florida aren’t going to vote for Sanders should he win the nomination. And it will cost Democrats a crucial state necessary to defeat Trump in November.
