Barack Obama Says He Misses Causing Traffic Jams as President

There’s probably a whole host of perks to being president of the greatest nation on the planet – but they all escaped the mind of former President Barack Obama when he was asked to name one of them.

Curiously, Obama admitted the thing he misses the most about his time in office is making average every day Americans driving to or from work miserable.

He misses causing traffic jams.

No, seriously, he said that. As if that wasn’t enough, Obama would like you to know he’s not too happy about being on the other side of things either, having to get stuck in traffic nowadays with you peasants.

When asked about what he misses most about being President, Obama responded “The fact that I didn’t used to experience traffic, I used to cause traffic.”

Got that, plebians? He used to be king of the world and the little people had to stop their mundane lives and wait for him to come through. Now he’s stuck in traffic cursing at the guy in front of him, just like the little people.

The narcissism is still palpable in this one.

Was it a joke? Of course it was. Would the media be treating it as such if Trump had said the same thing? Of course not.

This is who Obama has always been, though. A man who laughs at the woes of the everyday commuter while wishing those same problems weren’t his.

In 2014, Barack scoffed at New Yorkers who complained about the traffic jams he would cause upon visiting their city.

“I don’t know what the problem is,” he said at a Clinton Global Initiative’s meeting. “I haven’t noticed.”

“It’s actually pretty smooth for me during the week,” Obama joked.

New Yorkers didn’t find it very funny. The Daily Mail wrote, “The president was seemingly unaware of how intensely New York drivers despise his visits and the traffic jams they cause around the city.”

Ah, to be king again, eh Barack?
